Pakistan's Shahid Afridi and Abdul Razzaq who we're signed up by the Melbourne Renegades to play for them in the Big Bash league arrived in Melbourne today. What's the best thing about playing Cricket in Australia?
Abdul Razzaq: I think you can call it the home of Cricket with a hectic atmosphere. If you want to prove your Cricket you should prove it in Australia, Luckily we had 3 or 4 tours in Australia.

Are you looking forward to playing under the roof at the Etihad stadium?
Abdul Razzaq: Definetly, I'm excited. I hope the conditions will be the same too.

Who are you looking forward to play with?
Abdul Razzaq: I think we have a good combination between Nannes, Shaun Tait and McDonald. McDonald's a wonderful guy he got good sense too, We played together for Leicstershire so he understands the players and they'll be quality cricket in Australia.

What do you think of Shahid Afridi?
Abdul Razzaq: I think Shahid Afridi who everyone knows as Boom Boom is a very exciting cricketer and very dangerous, Whenever we play everybody favors him. He's a good bowler a good fielder and an excellent cricketer.

What are you looking forward to?
Shahid Afridi: I think we got a very good side. Nannes, Shaun Tait, Abdul Razzaq and Brad Hodge. There are also talented cricekter's and i'd love to play with these guys.

Memories of playing a roof under Etihad Stadium?
Shahid Afridi: I think I played there along time ago for Pakistan, We played 1 One day game against Australia and the memory about that game was Pakistan won that game. I'd love to hit runs on the roof so definetly i'll go for it.

What's the best thing about playing for Australia?
Shahid Afridi: I always enjoy my cricket in Australia especially, The way the pitches and atmoshphere is there in Australia its beautiful. The domestic cricket standard is very high, Theres alot of compeition especially the body language of the guys that are playing against each other thats what I like.

What do you think of Abdul Razzaq?
Shahid Afridi: I think Razzaq's one of the best, He's always enjoying his Cricket and I've enjoyed my career with him for Pakistan. We both hope we do well for the T20's here in Australia.
The Renegades play there first game against Adelaide strikers on the 18th December.
